This website is owned and operated by ETH Zurich for the Eurosensors2026 conference. These Terms set forth the conditions under which you may use our website and services. This website allows visitors to submit abstracts, register for the conference, and make payments related to participation. By accessing or using the website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Who Can Use Our Website
To use this website and register for the conference, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. Use of the website is prohibited where it would violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Registration and Payment Terms
By registering for the conference, you agree that:

1. You are responsible for providing accurate information during the registration process.

2. Your registration is binding, and payment must be completed as per the instructions provided.

3. Fees for participation are listed on the website, and we reserve the right to modify pricing at any time before purchase completion.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds for registration fees will be granted under the following conditions:

• Cancellations made before 07.08.2026 will be eligible for a full refund, minus processing fees (20%).

• Cancellations made after 08.08.2026 will not be eligible for a refund.

• No refunds will be granted for no-shows.

• Refund requests must be sent in writing to staubs@ethz.ch.

Retention of Right to Change Offering
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the website or the conference without prior notice. This includes changes to conference schedules, speakers, or other services.

 

Ownership of Intellectual Property
All materials available on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of ETH Zurich or its respective owners. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

Right to Suspend or Cancel Accounts
We may temporarily or permanently suspend or terminate your access to the website if you violate these Terms or applicable laws. Users may also request the deletion of their accounts by contacting staubs@ethz.ch.

 

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ETH Zurich and the Eurosensors2026 conference harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your use of the website or participation in the conference.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ETH Zurich shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or conference participation. This includes errors, inaccuracies, unauthorized access, or disruptions.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
