For Authors and Participants
Registration
At least one author per accepted submission must be registered AND attend the conference to present their paper.
All presenting authors must register for EUROSENSORS by July 1, 2026. Registration can be completed here: https://www.eurosensors2026.ch/registration
Any contribution for which the presenting author has not registered by the deadline will be withdrawn and will not be included in the abstract book.
Abstract Revisions and Publication
Minor revisions to the submitted abstracts can be sent to steinfeldt@ama-service.com until July 1, 2026. All authors will receive a pre-publication version of the conference proceedings for proofreading prior to publication and DOI registration.
Copyright
If your abstract is accepted for presentation, you will not be asked to sign off copyright of your work for EUROSENSORS 2026.
Oral Presentation
Participants are allowed to use their own laptops (please bring along specific adaptors, HDMI is available) or can bring along a USB stick. Presentations on a USB stick need to be uploaded to computers in the lecture halls prior to the session. The formats and timelines are given below.
Invited Plenary Presentations
Invited plenary presentations are limited to 45 minutes with an additional 15 minutes allowed for questions and answers (60 minutes total time).
Invited Presentations
Invited presentations are limited to 25 minutes with an additional 5 minutes allowed for questions and answers (30 minutes total time).
Contributed Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are limited to 12 minutes with an additional 3 minutes allowed for questions and answers (15 minutes total time).
Industry Presentations
Industry presentations are limited to a total of 20 minutes. Please consider reserving some time for questions and answers.
Posters
The poster format will be DIN A0 (84,1 cm width × 118,9 cm height). Poster boards will be numbered, and material to attach the posters will be provided. Posters can be hung up on the day of presentation in the morning and have to be taken down after the poster session in the evening of the same day.
Each poster presenter must be present at the poster during the corresponding two poster sessions of that day to explain the content and answer questions of conference attendees.
Late News Posters
The purpose of the call for Late News Posters with deadline July 31 is to enable new and exciting research results to be presented at EUROSENSORS 2026.
Late News submissions need to follow the submission guidelines of the abstracts that were due in May. In addition to the standard criteria for acceptance (e.g., novelty, innovation, impact, relevance, and data quality), Late News submissions will be judged on how new and exciting the results are and whether the results will be of general interest to the conference participants.
Late News submissions will be accepted for poster presentations only. These posters will be presented during each of the poster sessions on Monday and Tuesday along with the contributed posters.

Author No-Shows
Presenters and poster authors should plan for substitutes and report early, if their contribution is in jeopardy or likely to be canceled.
